2. Ashley Massaro

You can absolutely see where WWE was going when they hot-shotted Ashley Massaro into a key on-screen part soon after winning the 2005 Diva Search. She smoothly pulled off the hot punk rock chick look and even gave WWE some standard presentation through her part as a Survivor contender.

 The issue: past the look, she simply wasn't gifted. Going along at a high point for a division that highlighted Trish Stratus, Mickie James and Beth Phoenix, Massaro brought zero identity and perhaps even less in-ring ability.
